The Living on the Streets program, which started in January 2012, uses our mobile food pantry, where volunteers take food to the homeless in the places they congregate 7 days a week so they do not go hungry. This makes it easier for the homeless, who usually do not have transportation to get to the distribution centers.
We serve limited communities at this time, but with your donations of food and money, and your volunteer efforts, we can expand our mobile pantry to more areas in order to serve more homeless people. San Bernardino county has a very high rate of poverty, homelessness, and “food insecurity,” and Helping Hands Pantry’s mission is to help this population. Won’t you help?
